I just finished installing our new boarder - it took me approx 3 hours to complete once my water was drained down to the level needed. Our pool looks brand new - we couldn't be happier - the true test will be how it holds up while the pool is closed down for the winter.

Somewhere between easy and hard to apply. But the final look is great compared to the permanent, unwashable, bathtub ring that haunted us for the past three years. I got pretty good at it toward the end. Hanging over the pool didn't work well. Wading in the shallow end was easy enough, but the deep end posed stability problems -- solved with an extension ladder and towels -- lots of towels -- wrapped on the ladder's ends. Anyway, I highly recommend this option for solving the bathtub ring dilemma, inasmuch as the alternative (replacing the liner) is cost prohibitive and unnecessary.

It took a liitle longer than I expected since I am 74 years old but worked out fine after you get the hang of it.

We had a liner that after the second year, there was an ugly water line when we opened the pool. It looked like the chemicals ate the color away over the winter. It was ugly. It looked like ring around the tub. Since the liner was only 2 years old, I was not going to redo it and spend another 4K. This was the best solution. It was not that easy to install but my yard is 100 degrees of full sun and my husband and I almost killed each other doing it. It's not perfect and there were some crinkles and bubbles. We just popped the bubbles with a pin. Who cares. In the end, it looks 100% better than the ring around the pool! It took about 4 hours to do my 18" x 36" inground pool. If I get 2 seasons out of it, I'm happy. It looks great and it was a great solution to an ugly problem. I would recommend this is you just need to cover a portion of your liner if the rest is still good.

We appreciate the follow up and previous service from Pool Borders. This is our third order, and we will apply them to the pool liner either in the fall when we close the pool or in the spring before we open/top up the pool. We bought them based on our satisfaction with our previous orders. As explained in your website, the panels last 3+ years. This is accurate, and we order accordingly. I cannot say, at this point how satisfied I am with the current set of borders panels, but would not have bought them if previous orders were deficient. In short, we find the Pool Borders panels are excellent, and we will be in touch again in about 3 years. I'm happy to write a review based on our on-going satisfaction with the product and service.

Looks great. Our salt system left white on the side of our blue pool. This covered it and it Looks like new again. Seems to have adhered very well to the sides.

Had a black ring around top of light blue liner. Tried everything to remove with no luck. Saw this product and all the good reviews so decided to try. Now my pool looks brand new and border was very easy to install.

Opened pool this year to find a 3" long tear just above water line. Used flex steel tape to temporarily fix. New liner was going to be available at end of season. Did not want to have the unsightly look of tape all season so I found Poolborders on Google search, the only one I thought to be safe and only company in USA. Got borders in days. Very easy install once you find your groove it went pretty quick..corners were slightly a pain. We found cutting 1 and 2 inch straps made it much easier. Waited couple months to review for durability. We have a robot pool cleaner that climbs up sides and has not affected the borders at all. Pretty sure we just extended replacing the entire liner for this season n

I love how much better my pool looks after installing poolborders. I actually installed the borders myself in less than 3hours without any problem. However,I have put up wallpaper in the past and actually found installing the pool borders process easier.

I found found pool borders by a search looking for an inexpensive solution to the horrible looking, 1/2 missing tile on my 40 year old fiberglass unground pool. I chose the Mardi Gras design for the length to cover old tile residue. To prepare the surface, I scraped the old tile off with a putty and razor knife as best as I could, wasn’t able to get all of the old glue off but it didn’t effect the end result. The vinyl strips went on fairly easy… I messed up about 4 sheets just getting the hang of it. For the big reveal, I scrubbed the top edge with sanding screen, and replaced skimmer face plate and covers from an Amazon pool store. The end result is spectacular! I’m very happy with the product and will definitely recommend it!

This is the second time we have used the borders. Shipping was fast. Fairly easy to apply, just need to be patient and go slow.

Great customer service. Some of the items were damaged during shipping and the company took care of it immediately.

Pool Borders was the absolute perfect solution to update and make our fiberglass pool look beautiful. The application was fairly simple. There was definitely a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy.

Because of inclement weather, we just got our border applied to our pool. We love the look and the way it covered the nasty scum line. We cleaned and treated our liner as directed before installation and it stuck like glue. We are very happy with this product and appreciate the money saved not having to replace our otherwise “in good shape” liner. Thanks for a great product! Lovin it!

The pool liner looks great now that it’s up! It took some finagling to get into a rhythm for installation, but once we got into the groove of things it got much easier. Also because we ordered the Mardi Gras pattern we had to overlap more than some of the other patterns and had to actually order more sheets to complete the project.

Very pleased with the borders. They work great and stuck well. Glad we bought the cleaner and conditioner. Pool Looks brand new.

I think that the materials are excellent - I will have to see how they stand up to 2 or 3 winters! The pool looks great. I would have given it a 5star review except, on a curved pool it is extremely difficult to maintain a horizontal application line AND align the grout lines in the pattern without an overlap or gap.
I would buy it again - only I would look for a material that is say like a random terrazzo (or glass pebble look in the same range of blues and black) pattern so that overlaps wouldn't be visible - so the colors are great and the look is great - but a 'no pattern alignment' pattern for me and my kidney shaped pool with sides that slope almost indiscernibly until you try to line the patterns up! The hardest part was cleaning the sides prior to application and the cost of the water as I had to take it to 2 inches below the skimmer frames (4 inches from the bottom of the opening, an refill to halfway up the skimmer (so 6-7 inches of water in a big pool!).

We removed old tile and used the Mardi Gras border and it looks AMAZING! Could not be happier with the results. I would be happy to submit before and after pics if you can let me know where to send them.

The new border exceeded my expectations. I got a few air bubbles when installing but not that noticeable. The pool looks like a new pool and also looks larger.
My pool guy was very impressed. I found that cutting off 3-4 inches of the backing when you peel it back made it easier to align.
