I feel so fancy now with my pool border!

Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Jerry for the awesome customer service!!! So glad I let my girlfriend talk me into this. This border has transformed our 40+ year old pool, it has never ever looked this good! The new paint didn't hurt either. Everyone who sees it is amazed.

This product exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a faded or ripped border. My pool looks new again!

Excellent product, and I have ordered these pool border strips 3 times over the last several years to extend the life of my pool liner, which has a tendency to separate from the pool deck at one end due the surrounding ground settling and shifting slightly with the changing seasons. This has allowed me avoid having to replace my full pool liner prematurely, thereby saving the corresponding high cost.

The only downside for me is the prohibitive high cost of this product as I live in Canada - even with free shipping factored in when the minimum order requirements for this are met. Between the unfavorable exchange rate, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees I wound up paying over CDN $250 on my last order, which seems excessive for 4 X 10 ft. strips of thin plastic.

I realize that a lot of this is outside of Pool Borders' control, but I DO wish that they had a Canadian distributorship to allow some of these non-value-added additional costs to be avoided.

Though the outcome leaves a dramatic improvement in the look of the pool I have to say this was not an easy or quick task. I am someone that has repurposed furniture, made minor construction mods and renovations to houses and crafted many creative pieces for myself and friends and family yet found this install to be a significant challenge. You will want to have patience and above average skills for tackling such a project. And a second set of hands. Take your time and find your ideal method for aligning and you will succeed. Many pieces had to be modified/cut to adapt to installation on the curves. Good luck. You’ll enjoy the end result. I hope for mine to get the 3 years of use the supplier warrants it for.

Applied border two weeks ago. Pool is now open and border looks great!

I found that the product was easy to install. The sales person was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to as she comforted me that the product was great for those trying to save to replace there liners where in I leave they always want to sell you a new liner at a very high cost. It was delivered to me within the week that I ordered it. I am very impressed. I hope to post my pictures of my pool soon. Thanks again for understanding cost means a lot to people at these times. The border came quickly and looked very nice. Despite the other reviews, with two people working on it, we got the hang of it pretty quickly. I’m hoping that the adhesive is strong enough to make it through the winter but overall very happy.

Our in ground pool is an oval shape which made it a little tricky in the tighter radius areas of the oval so I just went slower and took my time only wasted one piece with an incorrect started line up which showed itself quickly
I’ll admit if you look close there’s a couple of areas that aren’t perfection however because of the repetition of the pattern no one at all notices and even I have to go by memory !
The self adhesive backing sure made it a breeze
The extra I ordered worked perfect for repairing the holes that existed in my 52,year old “Buster Crabbe” pool before starting the entire project

Old school. Meaning old fashioned outstanding service, products and support. As opposed to virtually every other business we encounter these days. We mistakenly ordered not enough product for a commercial pool and Pool Borders had desperately needed product in our hands the next day. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

What a Difference! The new border really jazzed up our old pool. We found the 2-foot strips difficult to work with. It was hard to align them properly without them getting mangled in the process. We ended up cutting them into individual squares, which made them much easier to work with. The result looks great!

I am really pleased with the look of the new Border. It was not hard to apply, but took patience and following the instructions.

What a great product. Took a while to get on but looks amazing.

The border turned out great. It is absolutely a huge improvement. You have to take your time installing it. It did take two people. We ended up starting at the top of the border and slowly pressing it down. They have been on the pool for two months and there are sticking to the sides of the pool perfectly.

We are very pleased with the results. We followed the instructions "to-the-letter", and the results are an almost "like new" pool liner. The hardest area was the corners, which had a number of holes from the normal stretching that comes with a vinyl liner on the corners. Fortunately we had some additional border strips, and used them as patches, and then added a 2nd strip over top of the patch. For us, it worked out better to cut the strips into 3 sections for the corners. And this material really sticks firm, so I don't anticipate any peeling problems down the road. Thanks, PoolBorders.
